Khaleedah Muhammad can vividly remember as a young girl, sitting on a stool at her mother’s dresser admiring her beautiful, dazzling jewelry. She would try on her necklaces, earring and bracelets and say to herself, “one day I want to make beautiful jewelry.” Her love for beautiful, unique jewelry has been her passion. Since retiring she has been living her ‘Bucket List,’ with designing jewelry at the top of the list. With the encouragement and support of family, friends and grandchildren, she began to design her own unique line of wearable art and is proud to introduce Grandma’s Hands Wearable Art.
Khaleedah has spent over forty years working for the betterment of the community and the world, her personal biography is included in the Marquis Who’s Who of American Woman also Marquis Millennia Edition of Who’s Who of American Women. She is also a published author and has written several short stories as well as authored the well received book “Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child, A Woman’s Journey Through Menopause, which is available at book stores. She is currently working on her second book.
Her life has been enriched by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and supportive husband. Although, she has had a great career her main claim to fame is her family and husband of over thirty nine years, who continues to be her best supporter and business partner.
